Monty had a surprisingly easy win on the no.4 shirt, so the dream squad is now as follows:

1. Paddy Kenny
2. Matt Lowton
3. Wayne Quinn
4. Nick Montgomery.

On the nightmare side, it's another run off for the no. 4 shirt - this time between Yates and Higginbotham, both of whom got no votes. The no.3 run off saw a narrow "victory" for Flitcroft over Williams, leaving that squad as :

1. Steve Simonsen
2. Daryl Westlake
3. Gary Flitcroft.

Time for the no.5 shirt. Only 4 nominees on this one which were leave someone (probably Kozluk )undeservedly enetring the nightmare squad. As before, it only goes on when they wore the shirt in question. The nominees wore other shirts as follows:

Kozluk: all the time from 2000-01 on

Murphy: wore no. 7 in 1999-2000

Maguire: wore 40 in 2010-11 and 19 in 2011-12

Got to be Morgan for me.

9 years, Championship and Premier League.

I think this one might be the biggest win so far.

Chris Morgan every time.

But it has to be Higgo for the nightmare team - Yates looks positively useful next to Gibralta's finest.

I've gone for Murphy because I have a sneaking fondness for him, but obviously Morgan will win and I wouldn't argue with that.

Agreed. I think Murphy was technically a better player than Morgan, so I went for the big Aussie. However, Morgan will win for his blood and guts (which we all love in Sheffield) and his long service.

Went for Murphy as a player, but no objection to Morgan winning it. Actually on these choices none of the 4 deserve to be in any Nightmare squad but thems the rules.

Not sure about that. Maguire has had several nightmare games this season

Shaun Murphy was a great defender and it was with a heavy heart I opted for Morgan. Will he be included in the best ever no. 7 then? Although I can see that vote being a landslide 95% victory to Browny.

I think the next 2 days are actually pretty nailed on.

No 6 - I imagine will be Jags
No 7 - I imagine will be Browny

I agree about the no.6, but there may be those who go for Beattie's 22 goals 07-08 season...

Oh dear, I see some comedian has voted for Kozzy. How my sides ache...

I forgot to make the vote public, so I don't know who did it, but unless the person in question can give a justification as to why he things Kozzy played better in 99-00 than Murphy did in 00-03 or Morgan from 03-12, I can going to disallow the vote as an obvious joke vote.

Some people vote Labour in Chesham and Amersham. Perhaps they wear jester's outfits.;)

Well I could have said a Tory voter in Walton.

Keep at it Dazzler, it lightens the gloom.....and is appreciated.

You have still lost me - I assumed you meant Walton on Thames, where there are lots of Tory voters, but then thought you probably meant Walton in Liverpool, where there aren't.

I still can't see what it has to do with voting for Kozzy.

C'mon Darren, surely it would be a sin to put Rob Kozluk in the worst ever Blades XI? Can't we retire the shirt in this one? :)

It's the law of the Medes and the Persians. They cannot be altered.

Anyway, I predict a run off between Harry and Kozzy. Harry might get it :-)

MORGS!

Harry is a decent player but as a leader, player and man MORGS wins it

Yes Liverpool Walton 4.3% Tory. The relevance was 'joke vote'.

Fun fact. In every parliamentary election I have voted in I have always voted for the winning candidate.

1987 Bill Miche (Sheffield Heeley)
1992 and 1997 Barbara Roche (Hornsey and Wood Green)
2001, 2005, 2010 David Lammy (Tottenham)

That probably says more about the areas live in than anything else. I hope to be moving to Medway shortly, a seat taken by the Tories from Labour last time. I reckon I will keep up my record in 2015 :-)

Well funny you should mention that but in the well liked "Squad" poll being run by your goodself I've voted for all the winners so far.

Morgan was technically crap. Good at shouting, (although virtually silent at present) and elbowing people but that was it. Lower league clogged if ever there was one, some people have short memories. And Monty only won the No 4 shirt because the competition was so unbelievably rubbish!

I can understand why so many have opted for Morgan and his leadership qualities but although crap under Adrian Heath Shaun Murphy was a way better player than Morgan once Warnock sorted him out so I have to go with Murphy.

Morgan has twice played in the Prem. The idea that Murphy was "way better" is entirely fanciful. At his best a commanding centre back in the second tier. But nothing more.

Bullshit, Morgan was a thug plain and simple Murphy as a footballer was better in every department.
