It will probably be a contest between Nade and McDonald on this one...

Notes on the players:

Burley: wore 27 in his first two seasons. Wore 21 in 01-02

Yohanna: reserve Cameroonian midfielder. Never played a first team game.

Killeen: didn't played a first team game as no.27. Had been no. 36 in 01-02

Harper: reserve Irish midfielder. Never played a first team game.

Deane: his glory years were, of course, before squad numbers came in. This was his cameo reappearance in the promotion season, when he only made two sub appearances.

K. Quinn: younger brother of Alan and Stephen. Was on the bench for the cup game at Hull in Feb 09, but never made a first team appearance.

Philliskirk: was no 27 when on loan in the second half of the relegation season. Was no. 22 from 2011 to 2013.

McDonald: was no.11 from 2012 to 2013.

Nade for me. Did stuff in the premier league rather than league 1...

I'm voting for Brian Deane, the squad number 'criteria' can take a break on this one :)

The correct answer is Kevin McDonald. But being a gutless, lazy quitter who left us in the shit, he can get bent.

Step up the fat lad!

I remember Deane coming on against Brighton, I think we were 3-0 up and hit them on the counter, the ball came to Deane from the left and his header looked goalbound for all the world until their 'Keeper somehow got a hand to it.

I remember that. The roof would have come off had he scored!

Absolutely gutted when the brighton keeper clawed that away, I am sure it was a decent move as well, with a typical deane bullet header, it still irks me to this day that the keeper saved it

I voted macdonald and instantly regretted it wish id have voted nade now, kmac never played a part in a memorable victory like nade did
