It's like including my next door neighbour in a poll of the best Academy Award winners since 1965 even though he's never won one.

Because they had the squad number and for all I know they have may have played brilliantly in the reserves that season and Warnock/Wilsor or whoever was a fool not to play them....
I don't know why I bother with the first post....

To reiterate, if you vote for Shipperly, you are voting for his performances in the reserves in the first half of the 2006-07 season. HE NEVER PLAYED IN THE FIRST TEAM AS NO. 23.

I read that, understand the rules, and am aware Shipperley didn't play. But then I was unhappy he didn't win the number 9.

Call it "Shipperley's Revenge".

Can I change my vote to HMS Darren ??? Based on the logic of Loughboro I want HMS in the squad. Miles better than BT and should have been in the squad at no 9. Proper leader of the line.

I went for Bartley, who is the best of a poor bunch. Ullathorne was a good player, but not for us. His best days were long behind him when he put on the red ansd white stripes. Bartley was a bit light weight, but was a good player. Decent on the deck and solid at centre half. Losing him when we did (and bringing in Collins) did not help in our relegation fight that season.
