Joking? Not at all. Against Swindon he looked strong and fast, creative and threatening. It also meant Murphy could go central and he was clinical. Where's the joke?
He's played 2 games of any note. I'd hardly call that making it your own, particularly as Murphy is probably the best left winger in the league and has previously struggled up to.

Howard
Brayford Basham McEveley Harris
Doyle
Flynn Coutts Baxter Murphy
Done

Subs: Turner, Freeman, Scougall, Reed, Campbell-Ryce, McNulty, Adams
Others:

Kennedy - has been very good whenever he's played; however I still think McEveley is a better option for now (and Freeman is a more versatile defender, hence his place on the bench in case of injuries)

Alcock - between him and Freeman for the role of 'backup' fullback

Davies - could really do with his set pieces around now but I don't think he fits in with our current style of play

Holt - impressed vs. Notts County; but when Baxter, Scougall et al are fit, I imagine he'd struggle for a place on the bench unless he makes more of a mark in the next couple of game

K. Wallace - not done quite enough to be included in match day squad for me

J. Wallace - to be judged as and when fit

Higdon - perhaps included on the bench for certain matches if it fits his 'style'

Collins - it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's ready and waiting to be called upon should we get some injuries

Cuvelier - would be good to get an update on his progress... not heard much since his couple of bright appearances upon return from injury - hasn't got himself hurt again has he?!

I'd like to find a place for Freeman in the starting line up, I seem to rate him more than any other Blade I've heard comment on him but he can't displace Harris or Brayford so it's a tricky one - by the way the reason I rate him is largely down to the role he played in my favourite Blades goal of last season - the Doyle one away at Swindon - and I know that's a bit irrational but there it is. Even at Notts on Tuesday his one contribution coming on late was class, bringing down a high ball over his shoulder perfectly and then retaining it, he also looks more physical than last season and god alone knows we could do with a bit more of that.
