Pre-season the Blades were in the main 6/1 and 13/2 to win the division. Therefore, how could you have achieved 8/1 to get promoted? Price one would expect to have been a fair bit shorter.

I also thought and I could be wrong, Donny were also well fancied to win the division. I can't ever remember them being as large as 12/1 for promotion (4 teams)

You sure you've got that right corky? Those prices seemed more akin to winning the division rather than promotion

Must admit, looks like title odds to me as well. We did drift out to around 14/1 for the title after 4 games but even then, we were only about 5s for promotion as this basically covers a top 6 finish. I know it's a bit different know because mathematically there's less teams can be involved at the top end but if you look at the League 1 odds today, Bradford are around 14s for the title but as low as 6/4 for promotion.

I got us at 8/1 to get promoted and 12/1 for sharpy to be leagues top scorer.

Emotion aside, you got really good odds, especially on the Sharp bet. Take it the promotion bet was when we had the terrible start, but even then us to turn it around wasn't crazy. Sharp to be in the top three scorers is just betting on Sharp to stay fit, so 12/1 on top scorer seems really solid.

They are. There was no 8/1 available for promotion anywhere. I would have had a large helping if there were....
