Wes got his opportunity and took it when the goalkeeping position was all over the place. Ramsdale wanted out, Verrips came in and flapped more than a hummingbird then we got Robin Olsen who, despite being a seasoned international, made various embarrassing mistakes, got Covid and was never to be seen again.
Wes could have just took the spot, plodded along and stepped aside again when Olsen came back but he didn't, to the point that Olsen was waved off to Villa's bench without a tear shed.
Ramsdale took a long time to start looking decent, by which time we were doomed to relegation. Henderson made the odd mistake (Liverpool being pretty high profile) but he also made some incredible saves for us but he's in the lead at the moment. By the end of the season, that could all change because so far, he's shaken off any preconceptions anyone might have about him and looks a genuinely good keeper.
Henderson---->Wes----->Ramsdale for me.
