It was a very satisfying 45 minutes wasn't it?
Quality football, total domination and this time we actually get 3 quality goals and a 3-0 lead to show for it.
On top of that Billy ended his drought and Leon continued his great goalscoring form. They showed that they can play together, which was great to see.
And all this against a decent opponent when we've already won the league. It's testament to the character of this squad.
On national TV too, showing everyone why we're top.
It was quite predictable that the second half was quieter and that usually frustrates me, but I said at HT that the first half was so good that I couldn't care less if nothing happened in the second - we didn't expect to win this game so comfortably, and the manner in which we did it was a bonus.
What a great way to round off our title winning weekend. It's been a memorable 9 days.
