He was. My best memory at school (All Saints 1978 to 83) was when the Pigs got to the FA Cup semifinal at Highbury and lost to Brighton. There was no end to it in the run up. That and Boxing Day bred my hatred of Wednesday.

Got told by an older Blade on here that for the last few matches of the season all you could hear from the Kop was "Seagulls shit on Wednesday, Seagulls shit on Wednesday, na na na na (oooh)" 🤣

It’s true, I remember it.

I vaguely remember him banging in a couple of goals.
I was very disappointed. We’d signed him from Arsenal and he’d looked a decent player but he never really hit those levels. Not terrible, just not that impressive given his pedigree.

I thought Marwood was a major disappointment for us given how good he was for Wednesday and Arsenal. I think he must have been carrying a few injuries as I don't think he even played for us regularly.

It's a tug of war between me in Holloway north London and my drinking buddy South London meeting for a pint. I am in Wetherspoons Holloway, he is in Beehive Wetherspoons Brixton. I rarely go South of river unless Blades are playing. Two weeks ago I said yes met him in Clapham Common, went to Brixton did the lot and didn't get home for three days. Mainly Irish and Geordies and Brixtonians but I flew the flag for Blades/ Bramall Lane which they all seemed to be impressed by. What I'm saying is the debate between North London or South London is South is better. By a long way in terms of people, conviviality.

George Waller played 5 seasons for The Wednesday before becoming our coach for more than 35 years. During that time we won the League once and won the FA Cup 4 times

Off top of my head, I can only think of Joe Mattlock, Keith Treacy and Danny Batth.

Can't remember what order David Johnson and Dean Windass were.
I remembered Alan Quinn but then forgot about Del Geary and Leigh Bromby from the same side. There are a lot as others have pointed out.

Never liked Bomb-y. Had one good game vs Leicester?, promotion season. Frightening defensively. Turned Killa into a nervous wreck.
Robson got rid. Blackwell brought him back.
Senseless.
