one of my fave goals has to be:

Ndlovu against leeds in the last minute. Just because of the occasion, was so happy to see the leeds fans shut their gobs!
Jagielka's goal in the same game is a fave too

Remember a couple of others though from the early 90s.

Also, Mike Lake scored a couple of screamers in successive weeks but I'm a bit sketchy on those.

1 other. I vaguely remember Hodges lobbing an out-of-position David Seaman from about 50 yards and the ball coming back off the post...but didn't Deano manage it against Grobelaar once???

Ah yes I remember this one fondly.

A great goal in my eyes would have to be the Saunders "Throw and shot"

Where he threw the ball against (think it was port vale keeper) their keeper bounced back to him and he put it in the back of the net. Excellent

Can anybody help me? Been so many best goals I've seen but the one that sticks out and I can't even remember the opposition. It was in the mid eighties and the scorer for the Blades was Steve Wigley. I believe this was his only goal for the club? but if it was, what a goal! I remember Wigley getting the ball just inside the oppositions half and going around half their team, this run was split up by the odd one two before passing the ball into the net at the Bramall lane end. If somebody more high profile had scored it ,then it would have been on numerous dvd's.:easy:
