Clip of his interview about how he thinks his style of play and what Wilder wants are perfectly suited and how happy he is to be here. Really thought he would play against Leicester tbh, and am looking forward to what he can do for us. Starts against Blackburn I would hope.

If he can get his form back from the first season with Everton he'll be a star for us.

He is the first player I can recall since Wilder took over that whenever he mentions the manager he on all occasions says “Chris Wilder” in full.

Would be great to see a 'Norwood v Hull' style cup game debut for him.

I think he'll impress.

He impressed me for Boro last season on the few occasions I saw him. Which is saying a lot considering the type of football Pulis was serving up.

Who gets the chop for a Mo show in the first team.

My guess would be Lundstram,or change the system to 4-4-2 and chop Basham.
Has Wilder ever played 4-4-2?
Wasn’t his preferred set up 4-2-3-1 when he came here?
Would the players we have better suit this system
Defence without Bash
The 2 Norwood & Besic
The 3 Freeman, McG and Robinson
The 1 McB

Maddison would have left BDTBL in an iron lung had Beswick been playing. Need to get down and dirty with the rest I'm afraid Blades.
Agreed, almost. I think body bag instead. If we think Lunny’s one on Grealish last year was a nice, old fashioned ‘cementer’ we’ve seen nothing yet. This lad is a proper hard cunt.

A cunt nutcase, I think our Bosnian guest said a few weeks back? Laki

yup

I think at home we could really benefit from having him in the side. Perhaps in place of Lunny, and let Lunny play the away games to try to break up play and create a bit more.

I say this because I think when Besic puts a leveller on someone, the crowd will go mental and create that incredible roar which will intimidate the opponent and get us over the line.

It’s tangibles like that which will make all the difference this year for us. Think derby at home last Christmas. It’ll go even crazier if he gets booked for the challenge.

We need to begin starting our new players.

They came here to play after all.
That's not to say we haven't managed so far because we clearly have, however I do wonder if it's sustainable.

I'd love to go the whole season giving all our Championship side the reward of starting in the Prem every week but unfortunately we'll need to regularly start four to five new players to do well consistently this season.

Besic is one. I'd also look to continually start McBurnie, Mousset, Robinson and Morrison.

If he looks that good vs City he'll do for me! I anticipate that Wilder will make wholesale changes to the team tonight and if they do well some could be in contention for a start in the PL considering how cheaply we often gave the ball away owing to Leicester's high press.
