It depends on who else we move on I reckon and what it costs to replace them.
Our wage bill is estimated at £50-£60m at the moment, if we assume that this drops to around £30m with relegation clauses. Plus the amortisation of the fees we've paid in the PL of around £20m (Berge, Brewster, McBurnie, Ramsdale, Mousset, Freeman, Bogle/Lowe, Burke etc). Plus the mortgage payments we need to make on that agreement. There are the matchday running costs to consider as well.
Our turnover will be vastly down on this season. £45m in parachute payments plus around £20m of additional revenue (this is a guess based on previous years), in the revenue there will be a period of empty grounds, plus the 4 free games that all season ticket holders are owed, plus probably a period of lower capacity as we ramp back up.
I don't see their being much (if anything) left when all the other running costs are taken into consideration. Unless the Prince is willing to fund the losses himself then the money will need to come from somewhere, player sales being the obvious answer.
