I think Edwards is an excellent summariser. Watching United over last 2 years has been for the most part like watching paint dry - and Edwards says it how it is.

But our point often was... if you're listening to Edwards, 9 out of 10 times, you weren't actually at the game.

So how do you know if he's telling it "as it is"?

We've had arguments with people in the past who didn't go to the game, but were telling us how so-and-so played just because that's what Edwards said... when we were actually there and thought we'd witnessed a completely different game.

You can't take someone's subjective opinion as fact.

Spot on, he's the same as Warnock in that respect, sticks to his favourites regardless and even plays them out of position to get them a game. As I've said elsewhere, it's the same with Evans, he's always the first to come off regardless of how crap Henderson has been.

Apart from when he has had major runs in the team (i.e. back end of last two seasons) where his form, and the teams, has been far better. He is quality and needs nurturing because we have precious little of it anywhere else in the squad.

As for the Quinn scapegoat comment, I believe this was aimed at Blackwell scapegoating players rather than the fans.

I haven't listened to Radio Hallam since the days of Ray Stewart Kelly Temple and Colin Slade but I'm going back after listening to those 3 retarded wankers after tonights game. Obviously never kicked a ball between them ever ,the arrogance with which they spoke over United fans tonight was unbelievable. Cotterill must have turned them down for interviews at some stage ,but Evans who is the same age and also an international and cost more money must be sucking them off.
