You're right. It started as a loan and then glt made permanent.

He didn’t handle himself well, but this must have been his last chance to earn generational money in his career. It’s clear why he chose to force it through. Worth a few jeers at Deepdale for the sake of seven figures.

Whiteman is a steady Championship player and nothing more.
