Whoever he is and whatever he does, he did a really good job as presenter at the NA "Meet the Manager" do last Thursday. At first I thought he was a bit "iffy" but the way he dealt with questions and kept NA on track showed a real touch and knowledge of United.

Sheffield United Limited doesn't really have direct connection to the Football Club side of things these days. The Prince has no financial interest in SU Limited, for example.

Blades Leisure and Sheffield United Football Club are the important companies which provide funds for football (ie the 50/50 venture between the McCabes and the Prince)

SU Limited is McCabe's vehicle for ownership of the ground etc. I guess Green getting more commercial utilisation of the ground could mean more revenue for McCabe to somehow funnel into the football side of things but I doubt it. You could argue that it could lead to more investment in facilities.

It seems to me that Adkins's footballing budget will be in line with SCMP ie 60% of the FC's turnover plus any extra the Prince may chuck in.

Doubt we'll be able to trace it but by all accounts Green is a big Blade and I guess any extra revenue is welcome.
