Looking at the above comments it's quite sad really.

I was all for him coming back but was proved badly wrong. He could have remained a big fan favourite had he not returned. However, he's now remembered for the hopeless second spell rather than the brilliant first.

Come on Beatts, sort it out. Don't destroy any remaining respect we have for you. Leave the sty at once, just retire.
 
They have already said he is only training with them to keep fit. Wasnt he at Southampton when the Dead Monkee was in charge there?
 
I heard last night he was at Wednesday, today he's at United.

The prob with football fans (me included) is that they have selected memories and have double standards. Just look at Arsenal fans last season who were saying RVP was the best striker in the league whilst Song was the best box to box midfielder. Now that they have been sold, the fans have forgotten what they were saying about them and are slagging them off. Fans eh

At least Arsenal sell at the right time just as RVP is coming up to 30yr old, he might have a few good years at Man U but his re-sale value is dropping all the time now, dead money Man U must have more cash than sense or they are getting desperate, not everyone keeps going as long as Giggs and Scholes.
 



Has someone with the potential to be a legend at the lane ever fallen from grace so fast. Was brilliant for us when he first arrived and an utter cock the second time around.

Nothing he does surprises me, but I will never forget his free kick against the pigs that night. Thats in the locker.
