FA cup round 2 day is the likely return of former much loved forward James Beattie
A player who thrives on being somewhere he enjoys being at , its fair to say and he liked being here
Hes had a lean 24 months , only had 7 league games and not full ones at Rangers, so was obviously not in a happy place there and in a Blackpool set up that was fading fast
This will hopefully work out for both parties, hell get back to some sort of form and we will benefit from his experience
Wish him well obviously , with a feeling he will do ok, may not be as prolific but if he gets to 60 -80% of what he was he,ll do a job

hope he starts. Been teaching my 5 year old the song. He cant wait

Beattie doesn't even make the bench today.

Blades: Simonsen, Lowton, Doyle, Evans, Williamson, Collins, Cresswell, Maguire, McAllister, Quinn, Williams. Subs: Jean-Francois, Montgomery, Ertl, Flynn, Porter, Long, McDonald.

Interesting point you raise there.

I would of said today would of been the ideal game to give him a run out and see what is match fitness is like. If he had been on for just 1 half of the game then surely that is better than letting him just keep training.
