took my 5yr old to his first game on saturday. Can anyone beat that for a high scoring first game?

No! Did he enjoy it Stanny?? Poor lad, he'll soon get to grips with the heartache of being a Blade!!;)

loved it. I had to behave though. Lol.

one of the first games i took my little brother to was the 5-3 (i think ) v cardiff when lester and nuddy scored a couple each

It was indeed Daz. I distinctly remember being on the phone to my mum telling here how boring it was, just as Tonge made it 1-0. We scored five twice that week at home, the other being Rotherham.

I saw a 10 goal thriller in my first game, so yeah, I can beat that.

Just a shame the first game I went to as a 4 year old is still the highest scoring game 30 years later

A mate of mine took his 4 year to that game as his first match.

Unfortunately the little lad was freaked out by the crowd, so for the first time in his life Ian left the game not just early, but at half time...

Ndlovu got a hat trick (2 pens) and Tonge and Lester got one each.

I thought that this thread was going to be a bad Michael Jackson tribute for some strange reason?

Not if I start it mate. I turn the tv or radio over as soon as he comes on

I recall a story about a blade who took his daughter to her first United match v Cardiff in the 03-04 season.

Left at half time because it was too loud for her...............

He has now been to 3 games Exeter 4-4 Oxford 3-0 and Torquay 3-2
He loves it bless him
