I’m sure there will be multiple threads on a similar line but any Blade that has cause to moan...just put on that sky 401 channel, the tide has turned and for the record for the 20 mins I watched they are the absolute polar opposite of what we are, lost souls, no direction, no idea and zero passion...what a time to be a Blade

I'm going to get a bit of stick here but here goes. I thought Mitwoch were better. However, both were very poor.
I think Mitwoch, with a bit of confidence, could go on a run.

Let the insults begin.

Before this thread is moved to the invisible board I will say it was a terrible game.

However Wolves on their downer period are still picking up results.
How wolves are top I’ve no idea
How pigs are in the championship I’ve no idea
Just to clarify, pigs are frighten to death of the oppositions net

I agree there's no reason whatsoever for us to 'moan' about our current 'predicament' but their plight is sweet FA to do with it imho.

For quite some time now I've doubted Wolves position at the top of the table. Against Reading they were fortunate to come away with three points. At home to Leeds the away side had plenty of possesion and threatened Wolves.

I'm sure there's a method to nullify their most potent players and cause them an upset. It needs a top class manager to come up with the goods and I fully expect that manager will come forward and do the business early February.

They huffed and they puffed but Wolves managed to blow the piggies Hillsborough down.

Yep, Wolves have been poor for the last 3 games, but have kept 3 clean sheets and ground out two away wins 1-0. Thats the major difference with our poor run. We're conceding goals for fun, are way too open at the back, even when we play well (Brum, Bristol) we don't win because we give goals away. Until this gets corrected we'll continue to struggle.

It's an old cliche to be sure, but that's what good teams do. Grind out the wins when playing poorly. No-one is catching Wolves.

We are in the position we are now because of the way Chris as got them playing .if we played more defensive it doesent mean we will win more games .it would be quite boring after what we have watched so far this season .Chris as got everyone playing to there strengths .Leon is proof of that

We attack as a team, they can attack as individuals because they have better players. This way they can keep their shape better defensively.

In reply to the OT, don't be silly the pigs were unlucky tonight, Carvhal (sp) is doing a great job, just leave him be.

As for United, Wilder is doing a great job, but don't underestimate the fact that SUFC have punched well below their weight for 40/50 years, and successive boards shouldn't have been allowed to get away with it (we've got a very good manager who needs seriously backing this JTW, McCabe/pearly Prince need to step up to the mark, if they don't Blades fans should be up in arms about it. We then don't need nice, nice threads about how we're above the pigs and how we should just be grateful for that, not good enough imo, we need to kick on and get promoted, seize the moment not fanny-arse about at board room level)

Not criticising CW too much, but keeping our attacking prowess and tightening defensively when we need to is when he takes the step up to the next level of management IMO. Let’s hope that’s with us. We’re just a bit niaive at the moment

CW needs to take Fergie as a bit of a role model here, great going forward but for the most part the back door was always shut. Hopefully Wilder has enough about him than to be another Ossie Ardiles (for example).

I love the rivalry and think it’s a shame it’s sent off to an invisible board. 80 odd other league clubs would love to have a rivalry like ours.

FWIW I don’t think Carlos is the sole problem. Chansairi seems a bit of a nightmare and not many would work in those conditions.

its about luck too

v birmingham wolves were piss poor ,
us v brum they decided to hit their goal of the last decade that stopped us winning

why didnt they pull that one out of the bag against wolves

Talking of leaking goals, that is the one thing that Coleman has fixed at Sunderland, according to my mate, who is a fan. Leaking goals for god knows how long and then two clean sheets in the last four games since Coleman arrived (I think that is the stat he said).

Typical that they start to improve before we meet them on Boxing day.........

defending better , but sill not very good going the other way
still be about survival for them unless they splash a considerable amount of cash in Jan

True but most teams around the bottom will hit a run of form at some point. Even Bolton look like they might, might crawl to safety all of a sudden. Still think we will turn them over in front of a packed out Lane.
