I've got a nephew called Riley and one called Jaxon. Their dads are my younger brothers, Riley's dad is a detective sergeant in Rotherham, and Jaxon's dad runs his own entertainment agency, so they're not products of the "scummy" end of the market. They're just indicative of the changing trends of kid's names. I must admit that Jaxon is a little on the silly side, but hardly a crime against humanity.

No?

Naming will soon go full circle and we'll be back to signing players with 'proper names' like Stan Bert, Len, Nobby and Chopper !

The day anyone names their son chopper is a concerning one for all.

Got some shit on yer PC, even LYDON will be impressed

It's a traditional Irish name, and he's from an Irish family (albeit Canadian born) so I think it counts as a proper name.

As for pronunciation - nobody seems able to agree. A quick google reveals various forums with people disagreeing about how it's pronunced, and all claiming to be more Irish than each other in their attempts to demonstrate that they are right and everyone else is wrong. Kee-lan, Kay-lan, Kee-lin, Kay-lin. A random W after the K may also feature if you're feeling particularly bold. Take your pick.

Useless twat will do after his first stray pass
