This is fucking bollocks for me as I can't get AM - surely the most accessible for the majority of people is the FM station? Seeing as the pigs game is being shown live on BBC TV, surely it would have been better to have The Blades on FM so everyone who wants to follow the pigs can do and likewise ourselves?

Can I presume that Digital means DAB?

I remember back in the 1990's i used to listen to FM, nowadays i listen to DAB when i am home, far superior to FM and a fitting place for the Blades commentary

To be fair, a chance to get into the fa cup quarters is a bigger game than reading away. I’m sure it would be the same other way round. Plus DAB is for better quality than fm

Same, may be a bit stronger. Do remember trying to get it on the way back from villa and not being able too though

Probably more widespread on DAB BOSS. I can get it on Freeview as well (Dab version).

I can get FM in North Leeds quite well.

What area coverage would Radio Sheffield get on DAB though? Is it same as FM?

not sure about DAB, think it's restricted to the same area as analog radio? The FM broadcast is also on freeview 734 so I can get it via a TV tuner - it covers a much bigger area (certainly West Yorks where I am if not further, and I can't get the FM signal), but it knackers that plan when it's AM only.

I've been able to get FM really clearly in York as well, but driving north west from Sheffield I've found the signal gives out around Saltaire.

I can get FM in the car down the A1 nearly as far as Peterborough though after Colsterworth it fades out in the dips.

As someone else has mentioned far beit from me to support wednesday on this matter or any matter. But it is the bigger game. Championship games happen twice a week. But chances to make quarter final at home v premier league opposition doesnt happen often
