Talking of media coverage, did anybody hear the coverage on 5Live last night? They covered Arsenal v Wigan first (obviously) and our game second. But for the first time, possibly ever, we had pretty much all the coverage and Hull had almost none. They interviewed Mitch Ward, who's going but was clueless about The Beard, and then Sir NC. It's an omen I tell ya

Pat Murphy's said we got to two semi finals in 1993 and still talk about it. Anyone know how we got on in the other one?

No, but the memory can play tricks. Mark the Pitsmoor pillock was practically first on Football heaven last night with the usual nothing to say, but desperate for some spotlight. He mentioned W*dnesday's relegation in 1990, but how they came back up and "won the cup". Well, it was a cup, not sure about the cup.

As for Pat Murphy, being charitable, he might just have got his 93 and 03 muddled.

I'm sure he did. I couldn't resist a dig though, partly because I'm worried he actually thinks we are Wednesday who did have two semi finals in '93 and probably do still talk about them as they actually won them.
