Seen her on other HYS, it's a pig fan. Embarrassing how they pretend to be neutrals to keep up the myth in their head that Wednesday are some massive team that everyone thinks should be in the prem.

I think you have your club honours mixed up. That trophy haul you mention was by Sheff Wed.

Sheff Utd hold the unwanted record of being the oldest football club in world football never to win a trophy.

I wouldn’t say the Premier League is the best in Europe but it certainly is the most exciting and competitive.

To prove the point, in Spain, Italy, Germany & France, the same team wins the league every year, whereas in the Premier League this season you have a team in Liverpool who are about to become English Champions for the first time in their history.

This ‘never heard of their players’ thing is getting embarrassing.

I can accept that we had very few PL appearances among the squad back in August with the exception of Jags, have made their PL debuts this season, so to have not known our players is understandable and reasonably acceptable. I have to admit how quickly I’ve lost interest in watching Championship football and keeping up to date beyond scorelines and the league table.

But we’ve played 26 games now, most games lining up with the same nine behind two strikers. Of our strikers one is the leading scorer in English league football this century and one has been at Bournemouth in the PL for what three years? If a fan of a PL club or casual fan of the league hasn’t heard of our players by now, that’s not their fault for being ‘lower league journeymen’ any more, it’s your fault for not paying attention, or more likely for refusing to watch us because we’re out performing your multimillion pound mercenaries.

We’ve been playing this game with Wendys for a couple of years and I’m happy to continue. Harry Kane? Never heard of him.

No one had heard of Elvis until he got famous. I’m staggered at how many people seem to be proud of the fact they don’t know much about football and wear their ignorance like a badge of honour. Either that or they’re just pretending to be stupid which is even sadder
