I'm pretty sure that someone spiked his drink again.

He doesn't have much luck does he?

Obviously had no respect for his career or more importantly sheffield united FC so have no sympathy and needs fucking off,egomaniac cunt who has literally blown it all away

No but you are double stupid if you put that defence up and then continue to use drugs. Guys an arrogant, self centred knob end whose wages fans have funded. He obviously feels the rules don't apply to him (not unlike many footballers). So we now have had a rapist, wife beater and drug user. Gets better and better for us as a family club doesn't it.

Who is the wife beater?

If fans had not complained and sponsors were going to pull out, he would be wearing the Blades kit today, what would make it even more laughable is the blades fans would be clapping and cheering when he scored, football today is about money to the club, and promotion to the fans. Principles seem to mean nothing in any sport.

Ched Evans was hardly the Yorkshire Ripper and neither do I see quite the same level of intensity regarding Adam Johnson.

But poor little Jose didn't know it was cocaine ,and he thought taking salt up your nose was a trendy new eating habit, or someone out it up his nose when he was sleeping. Would we believe this to save a few quid ?

As an aside would anyone on here like to see Jose in a Utd shirt again ?

If the rumours are correct he'll be there in the Summer. :)

If he had raped your wife or daughter, or any one of your family I'm sure you would of liked to see him in the shirt every week, regarding Johnson the club sacked him straight away, once he admitted his wrong doings. Something the Sheffield united board did not do, Why because they paid £3,000.000 for him, and he was an investment.

Actually if you've been following the trial they did no such thing.

He sat down with the club and told them exactly what he'd done and showed them the text messages and they let him keep playing.

He's only denied the bits that can't be proven conclusively.

I don't think Sunderland were expecting him to plead guilty.

Id guess it was the decent sell on value he had rather than the mythical £3 million we supposedly paid for him.

Well we don't/didn't seem to have problems with a whole host of others with criminal records. Perhaps you have a very restrictive view of the Evans case, which by any standards was hardly ordinary. If you get prosecuted for doing 48mph in a 40mph limit on a road with nothing around is that any more dangerous than doing 140mph down the motorway in driving rain? They are both speeding offences. I am not in the Ched Evans was innocent camp but the way the bloke was castigated was ridiculous.

Odd, the trial seems to be covered on Sky News pretty extensively.

The difference is than Johnson has admitted guilt and said he was wrong. There's only one outcome. Hardly news really. Evans still denies any fault.

No

No I wouldn't like to see Baxter in a United shirt and I was a fan up to the end of last season. The issue like every preseason is that it's ok to want to get rid of players, but not when you're always replacing them with rubbish like we do.

Considering Baxter and his stock with the fans at present, this doesn't fill me with hope for next season.

Hard to know where to start with this one. Is he just completely thick, or what?

Whatever he took, it definitely wasn't performance enhancing.

Here are the suspension periods for social drugs.

I'm not sure if his 3 months suspended sentence for his first offence is added to the minimum 6 months.

Given the possibility that he lied about the circumstances of his appeal for his first offence, it would not surprise me if it turns our to be 9 months to a year. If he does it again, his career is fucked so I don't know where any confidence that he'll get fixed up with another club comes from. He will not be allowed to train with any new club until one month before the suspension ends.

(a) for a first violation – a minimum of a warning and a maximum of 6 months suspension;
(b) for a second violation – a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 2 years suspension;
(c) for a third violation – a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of a permanent suspension; and
(d) for a fourth violation – a minimum of a permanent suspension.
its not he will have to serve that separately because it is a separate offense
