I'm only posing this as he seems to have fallen away from the bigger picture.
He'd be a great signing for Fleetwood IMO.

I can't remember who it was that was talking about it before... But someone had a theory about the links between the clubs, it seems nothing more than coincidence

I don't think it got anywhere near as close as being coincidental.

Both being professional clube in the Northern Hemisphere was about the best link.
