I noticed that and couldn’t quite work how he did it. His passing looks good too. Other thing I noticed is that he was the one organising the rest of the team for the Barnsley free kick obviously a lot of respect there. Could be my new Coutts

He has that presence where he can just glide around making space for himself effortlessly before moving the ball on to another player.

Better 2nd half. got pretty entertaining, Robbinson is class. Fleck playing much better now, Norwood had a shit game for his standards, his lack of mobility is still a worry for me if he is the last line of defence in midfield. We need some more athleticism in midfield for me. But enjoyed it overall

Very pleasing overall, especially with Henderson and Osborn starting. Some good performances.

A big thing for me that is emerging is the strength of our left hand side. There are a lot of good players there with a good natural understanding. Osborn and Freeman have cemented this, and Robinson prefers that side too.

But the growing difference between our left and right sided strength could make us a bit unbalanced and predictable.

Morrison has that ability to not allow a defender near him with his movement through midfield and between the lines, he effortlessly picks up those type of spaces and that’s not a common attribute to have. Could prove to be a massive addition and I think he’s in the exact right type of team and management staff for it to happen.

If we can get him fit the midfield 3 from the 4 of Morrison, Fleck, Norwood, Freeman has to be first choice. I think we might get another central midfielder on loan from a top club like Wilson/McTominay.

I think a RWB is the next stage of our growth along with a backup left central defender.

Brilliant singing. It’s only a friendly but every time he got the ball I was excited. His link up with McGoldie was excellent too.

I’d love us to sign McBurnie, and it’d be a nice headache to have, but choosing to drop one of Robinson, McBurnie and Moussett would be hard. All would come here expecting to start and that’s before Billy and McGoldie!
