BARNSLEY Football Club are today appealing for information after missiles, including coins, were thrown from the CK Beckett Stand on Saturday (November 8, 2008).

Fortunately, on this instance, no serious injury was caused. Any information given will be treated in the strictest confidence.

The Club are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the game and any individuals who are identified will be subsequently banned from attending any future fixtures at Oakwell and their details will be passed to South Yorkshire Police.
