We still have the remnants of that very average team that Wilder astonishingly made into superstars. Without their mentor and his tactics...half this team are simply useless.

This idea that things stay the same including footballers form is crazy.
If so Blackpool,Hull, Reading,Huddersfield,Barnsley etc etc would still be in the Premiership.
The trick is good management being able to recognise good footballers and gradually evolve the squad.
Wilder was a one trick pony who was lucky ,just like Blackpool,Hull,Huddersfield ,Barnsley etc etc

...no, to keep the Club financially stable.
The cost of maintaining a Championship club, staff , training facilities and ground is huge, so let’s not assume that all money can be used to buy new players.

We need a recruitment team fit for purpose to get the right players!
