Bamford - “Hearing them (fans) and hearing the Sheffield United boys, it was as if they already think they’re up,” Bamford said. “It’s eight games to go and there’s still a lot of points to play for. Nothing’s written in stone yet.”

Didsy - Hold my beer...

I'd still take Bamford, but for considerably less than £10m. He does have a deft touch and can finish.

I'd take Maupay as well. Some day Billy is gonna have to retire and someone like Maupay is what we need.

Bamford looks lightweight to me. He may continue to flourish in the top half of the Champ, when/if fit, but I can’t see him ever having a successful career at the top level.

If it looks like a twat, talks like a twat, runs like a twat, cups an ear to its own supporters like a twat after scoring .... it needs pointing to the Twats Thread >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

If I were the Leeds supporters then I'd be more worried about how Hernandez went missing and shied away from the ball yesterday when things started getting tough.

There's a few of them, the difference is, they've gone missing less this season than last. Bielsa's teams have a reputation for not staying the distance as well.

Bamford is the new John Stead, he looks useful to begin with then just fades into obscurity at each club.

Bamford is just another overrated championship striker, definitely has to be a correlation between foreign investment and all of a sudden the increase in player values. Maybe that’s down to the fact people like Mr chancer of late have more money than sense/understanding of what makes a multi million pound player, or even the competitive effect of premier league money coming into the championship aka Villa, Middlesbrough, “we need to compete with these teams chairman ” ideology.

Some teams haven’t got the ability to do this. So have to find other ways to survive, problem is a lot of the teams currently trying to survive in this manner may have once had money so are unable to comprehend a way to survive without it, for example derby, forest, Wendy, qpr, Birmingham. Fans on their forums are guaranteed to still be suggesting “multi-million pound players” during the summer even though they are aware of the financial nightmare in which they exist.

We on on the other hand know what is it like to have naff all and survive so we make freebie transfers like Didsy, Fleck, Cranie, Duffy and Stevens work and improve them and the team. What has happened over the past 3 years in my eyes is nothing short of a miracle. So Leeds and the rest of them can have their 10 million pound, can I choose what games to play players. We ain’t got a barrel of money but we just might have a barrel of magic and wilder is pushing it towards the premier league. UTB! Let’s get the job done Saturday Didsy.

You get nowt if you don't splash the cash. We need a Bamford (£10m), Jordan Rhodes (£10m) or Britt Assombalonga (£15m).

We do indeed - and we might actually need 2.

It will be a tough call for Mitchell/Wilder/Knill to make as to who we go for and what type of striker we go for.

Hopefully loaning Hendo from Man U will free up some purchasing power, but we are going to have to invest serious money.

Bamford isn't good enough for the Premier League, but he is a first rate Championship level player.

If I were anything to do with recruitment at the Lane, I would go all out for Dwight Gale, the Newcastle player, currently on loan at West Brom. For me, he's worth 10 million any day of the week and played correctly would in my opinion get 10-15 goals in the Premier League.

The problem is, while he may worth £10m to you, Newcastle will likely value him significantly higher.

What makes me smile is before the game yesterday, there was a Leeds fan giving it large on our Instagram saying that McG was old and shit, to which the reply was "scored more than Bamford" but he still had to come back with "less than Roofe though" and then McG bags a brace and makes that twat look even more of a fucklump.
