I've mentioned this a couple of times recently but we’re not learning. Jack’s only job when they scored was to keep goal side of Madine but he watched the ball instead of the man and left him with an easy chance. Can’t understand why the coaching staff aren’t working on this more.

Stearman's role should have been to cut out the cross at that near post too. Winger coming at us from there has a couple of options - cut back to penalty spot or across the six yard line as he did.

What would Wright have done? We can only wonder.

I do think Stearman is playing OK by the way but Wright should be in this team IMO. To play Vickers instead of him is a position for position matter presumably but can't Stearman play right side centre back?
