Stop fannying abaart playing it out from the goalie - just boring , risky and often lose it in our own half - gerrit upfield.
Stop fannying abaart passing it around their box when an early cross could create as chance - gerrit in t'mixer and cause some bollox in their defence before they're ready.
We don't realise the panic we could cause by moving it quicker especially on a counter when they're out of position.
When Coops collects the ball after an opposition attack I wanna see one or two of ours bomb upfield and Coops throw it straight out to them.
Especially after opposition corner when their CBs are stranded in our box.
There should be a predetermined arrangement between Coops & (eg) JRS/Hamer to be doing this every time.
Instead of Coops taking a breather and then rolling it to a CB for another slow boring play out from the back.

Wilder is showing himself up at the minute persisting with a negative formation that does not work 1 up top is not the answer.

Its true Leeds did this with Bamford and it was so frustrating and the fans could see it but the manager couldnt, till he walked the route of sacking.

General question but on the same point. Have strikers got worse?

I was watching the tottenham vs city game last night and tottenham were quite agressive in their forward play, quick, positive etc.

The amount of shots that weren't on target was insane, considering these should be some of the best forwards in the country.

I am not sure how you define this but in out and out forwards, Billy and McGoldrick feel like the last 2 who consistently knew where the goal was?

I might be wrong and interested to know others thoughts.

Just have one speedy lad who's made an arrangement with Coops and hangs around the edge of our box with his eyes on Coops as soon as it's gathered.
Simple little plans.
Might only fool the oppo once but could produce a goal chance and my goodness we are lacking those.
Team need to start being inventive about chance creation.
No amount of passing between our defenders in their own half (while the oppo defence resets) will get us a goal.
I feel we have the tools for the job but are misusing them.

Didzy went through lengthy periods when he couldn’t hit a barn door. Brilliant player but he was never an instinctive finisher.

There's two possible reasons I can think for this. I did not watch the game as I would rather watch paint dry than watch Man City, even more so if it is their reserves, but:

a) The Spurs forwards correctly summise that City have a competent goalkeeper, and just getting it on target for the sake of getting it on target does nothing if you play it so safe the keeper will save it every time, so aim where it's going to be goal/corner/miss
b) Spurs started Solanke and Schnitzel Shane Long up top, neither of whom are very good

Very rare that we have scored a headed goal from open play, in fact never seems to happen these days
