The issue I highlighted wasn’t to do with time-wasting, it started at the beginning of the 2nd half, it was because Westwood is an ex Wednesday player that he wouldn’t give him the ball directly.

Put me firmly in the camp of thinking its fine (within reason) for the ball boys to slow it down when we are winning. It's a very small advantage in the context of the full game when all said and done, and QPR still had 90 mins plus to score and win that game.

Why the fucking hell fire should a ball boy be speeding about like a twat to give the opposition any advantage over United (no matter how slight) during the game? Short answer, they shouldn't. With all the time wasting shithousery that goes off week in week off, or clubs choosing not to even play a fixture cos they have injuries and blame it on covid... Quite frankly fuck QPR and all who sail in her.

A long time ago, when I was a pup, I played for SUFC Junior Blades and we ball boyed fairly regularly at the Lane. We were told with a wry smile before every game, if we are winning with a few mins to go, don't be so quick to get it back to the opposition if it's their throw. Take your time. So I and all my fellow ball boys did. Its been happening for fkin donkeys years and in your own little way you thought you was helping your team get an advantage. I would wager every ball boy for the other 91 clubs would have (and still do) the same.

The trick is to time waste but not too much as to make it blatantly obvious. Good on the ball boys I think.
