studs up, over the ball, could easily have been red

Disagree. Barely touches him, foot comes down and into the ground, not the player. So doesn't follow through.

Their player jumps as high as he can into the air.

Booking each for me. Baldock for slightly high foot over the ball, theirs for simulation.

Fair point I was suggesting that they’ve been given. it’s encouraging to see a ref in a big game keeping calm - that said, he’s had two, another clumsy one and he may be off. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Duffy on for him with Bash dropping to the back line

Look at the tackle at the moment of contact. Baldocks foot is flat planted on the floor and never actually touches him. It's his body that makes contact.

Never a red in a million years.

It’s one of those that some refs give a red.

However the Sky pundits have got it right, a yellow is lenient but a red would be harsh, deserved an orange card.

You find these types of 50/50 reds, when they are early in a match refs rarely give them
But if it’s later in a match and one team has been dominating, then they generally give the decision in favour of the team that has been dominating.

It’s a close call but trying to be neutral I reckon yellow was the correct decision.

Never, he clearly pulls his foot away and under himself. Barely any contact. I could understand in real time it looking worse though.

I wouldn't have given a yellow not a lot of contact but lots of play acting from the Leeds scumbag.

Commentator said Baldock was lucky to be still on, and that it was good to see the Leeds player not suffering from the Injury sustained in the tackle.

Deluded.

The Leeds of old rear their ugly head again feigning injury while team mates harass the referee to hopefully get a red card out. Just reminded me why all football hates them.

doesn't have the composure required in the big games, he should've given a penalty away (possibly 2) against wednesday too.

Hard working player but we need to do much better.

It was reckless and could have gone either way. Ref was lenient today. Sharp maybe a little fortunate too.

ESPN commentator was desperate for it to be a red and never shut about it after.

Never a sending off.
