Baldock Transformation

Transformation nailed below. Baldock deserves an enormous amount of credit for stepping up this season – proving people like myself wrong who raised his lack of end product as something we needed to strengthen on. We’ve effectively got that by having a better Baldock this season. The obvious improver in the squad is Lundstram, but Baldock can’t be far behind.

The comms on the feed I was watching praised Tim Krul for a wonderful save, the one from Cantwell that kept our lead at 2-1.

Yeah I heard that too after the Deano wonder save they called him Tim Krul and there was like a 5 second silence and I was thinking any minute now they will correct the mistake but they didnt.

Baldock this season is another transformation. There was a real doubt about whether he could step up. His crosses have improved dramatically. He scores wonder goals and shows pace and aggression. What a player! MOM for me today.

Could this be the reason for such a transformation??

What was his celebration all about ? Blanked wilder, those on pitch, and had to be pulled of someone (jags?) in the dugout by wilder. Seemed really angry at Tottenham. He's fired up alright but not just with love for everything at BL.

Like a man on a mission

It was a terrific piece of skill & a great finish for his goal. He has really stepped up this season in general, we already knew he had a great engine, was determined & had a decent turn of pace, but he has added to that this season & has a quality end product. He has clearly worked very hard & is pretty much the complete wing back now.

Bakdock has turned into a top top wing back. Plenty raving about Alexander-Arnold but when we played Liverpool a few weeks ago, Baldock matched him. If Greece have a better right back then I’d love to see him because he must be some player.

I used to play wing back and let me tell you its a fckin hard position to play.i played county senior level and that was hard enough fitness wise, baldock and stevens do it week in week out at prem level. Superhuman fitness levels.

I was wrong about Enda, I was even more wrong about Baldock.

What's scary/awesome is that they are both getting better and adding more to their games each week as well.

Anyone else see the kinesiology tape on the back of George’s hamstrings. Suggests they could be a little tight, hope he stays fit as he’s having a superb season.

I fucking love Baldock, think he has been superb all season long and that goal was great.

Think it was Billy he went to..had some people on his back after Thursday..that one was for him...fuck the haters!

Oh and Enda
Where's Oh come from? Is he on loan from tottering hotspur? Must agree with your choice all of George''s fellow defenders they have all been superb this season. Jack & George would be both playing for England if they belonged to a more established top 6 club, they're certainly good enough. Makes yer proud to be a blade, thank you Mr Wilder et al.

Garth Crookes team of the week, has George as a midfielder, but hey, some progress I guess.

Midfielders - George Baldock (Sheffield United), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), James Maddison (Leicester City), Son Heung-min (Tottenham)

George Baldock: I wasn't sure if it was George Baldock or George Best!
I thought I was seeing things when I saw Baldock drag the ball back, pirouette and strike a glorious shot past Tim Krul. The finish - not to mention the skill - was superb along with Sheffield United's performance.
Blades fans have been telling me I've been a little hard on their team recently and not giving them the credit they deserve. How many players do they expect in my team of the week?

I know someone who knows him very well and he's taking this season completely seriously aswell as his fitness, diet and "drinking" habits.

He didn't make it into Jamie Redknapps team of the week. Enda did though.
