yes they took us to 9th in the prem along with Henderson in goal .The defence was our strength unlike last year where it was our weakness. Brian Clough always said when building a team start with the defence first . Just hope we get a decent keeper because right now we have not got one .

I think peak versions of those players are definitely a loss to the team. As it stands, Basham there was no guarantee he was coming back, Egan didn't really look as solid at the start of the season before he was injured. Only Baldock am I thinking would have helped the squad and I genuinely feel he deserves his opportunity in Greece, Europa League football etc.

We should have been already looking at phasing these players out and thats the bit that doesn't seem to have happened.

Norwood, Sharp, McBurnie, Wes you can put all those in that category too.

Even if we had a big budget realistically you’re only keeping Baldock & McBurnie - possibly Egan if his injury isn’t too bad.

Moore adds a bit of experience & I’m sure you’ll see a couple more over 30 players join between now & Preston.

Does anyone know how basham is getting on, im not proposing signing him but how is he coping after the injury and release, im not on any social media site so never hear anything, he is one of the few players i really hope finds what he wants from life and gets it

I think Duffield mentioned in the commentary at York that Bash was still around the place and we were helping with his rehab even though he is out of contract?
