You are goingto get hammered bruce, however its not beyond us, not going to predict it but I have confidence next season will be memorable just like this season has been, already looking forward to it

Would be the dream, and I bet it's gone through the Prince's mind a few times

But would be content with mid-table, provided the team look like they care as much as they do at the moment.

I wouldn't be surprised, however I'd assume we'll finish somewhere mid table.

Wilder is impressed by what Huddersfield have done, he said that on Sky the other week.

I would not be surprised if that was not the model they are going to be looking to emulate, sensible expenditure, establish themselves for a season or two, then push on to challenge for promotion.

There's no way of knowing whether the players who've torn this division up will thrive against better players. Can Freeman and Coutts hack it defensively? Can Billy get a decent total? Will Wright be found out?

But you have to say that if Barnsley can be as comfortable as they have been, and Burton can survive, then surely we can do better with our resources?

You can add Preston to that list too. We've got absolutely nothing to fear next season IMO. We've got a very talented squad playing some excellent attacking football. Lets just go for it!!

Think Southampton and Norwich, keep the core squad together and the confidence we have gained this year will be key. There won't be many teams in the championship going into it with the same confidence as us.

4 or 5 good quality players with some skill power and pace from this level and there are some.

You could probably pick up 1 player from nearly every team in league one which could
Improve us. Only at Oldham the two black lads one in midfield and the scorer looked good. Peterborough have a couple, fleetwood Bolton etc

Pass Wednesday on their way back down ;)

assuming the jammy bastards do get promoted in the first place .......

Football is a funny old game saint. When players win something it changes them. The amount of players that you didn't think were any good suddenlty turn into premiership players. The one bigdifference between players from premier to those below is that they have the confidenfe, not arrogance in themselves and winning the league like we have will change a few of their careers to a whole new level.

Rip the twats a new one, we are doing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching MOTD last night I was impressed by Bournemouth's high pressing game. Middlesborough were lazy by comparison.

We've all become close to this current squad of players but in 12 months time Wilder and Knill may well have created another team all together. They must possess good technical skills to compete in the Championship but most importantly a desire to work hard for each other.

Bournemouth have good technical players but without that strong work ethic (something Wilder places so much emphasis on) they would be the whipping boys of the Premiership. Middlesborough need to learn that lesson.

Being competitive next season will be good enough for me. looking forward to playing Leeds, Forest, Pigs etc which we've missed for the last few seasons.

Said it before. Say it again.
Nothing to fear in the Championship.
Respect it yes but then smash it.
Wilder is the right man at the right time with the right core, and the right backing to get the right additions to take the right club HIGHER.
I have watched us wander about for years with that fucking pathetic BELIEVE bollocks when anyone with a fucking brain didn't.
Well now just fucking believe!!!

One thing that we have got on our side is a strong winning mentality, something we will obviously have going into next season compared to most teams in the Championship.

Its something you can't buy but we've got it so lets just see what might happen next season.

We have nothing to fear other than fear itself.

Tufty doesn't do fear.

En Marche.

Magic

Would need to significantly strengthen. We're a long way off the top 6-8 sides in that division I'm afraid. With 3 or 4 decent signings I could see us finishing top 12 in our first year though.

We should look at teams who've done it before and ask ourselves what did they have that we don't have?

It's not multi million pound players on huge salaries.

It's a balanced squad with good players, a strong team spirit and a good manager.

We've got most of those things: we need to add a few more players that will give us pace and aggression - but we will.

I think we will be pushing for the top 6 personally and depending how close we are to that and what happens in January we could surprise a lot of people.

We are playing really good football and that's what makes me confident we can compete at the next level up.

Well one of the answers is 'Nigel Adkins', so that proves what a silly question it is.

I agree but it is still a step up. Let's not get carried away just yet, eh?

I wouldn't rule anything out apart from what the pigs keep saying we will not go straight back down. We might struggle but I doubt it mid table for me is very achievable, who knows with a few good additions we could have a pop at the play off's. You don't have to be all that good to get in the top six the pigs being the perfect example as poor has they have been they could well be promoted with their luck I'd predict it.

Biggest difference between the PL/top end of Championship and the rest is the quality of athlete.

Technically we are more than good enough, and I have no doubts about our footballing ability but one fear I have is the athleticism among our group. At the risk of being stoned by the masses, I do wonder if the likes of Sharp, Fleck, Clarke, O'Connell have the athletic ability to continue the journey and step it up to the 'next level'.

I hope a hard Summer training fueled by the sweet nectar of success will prove me completely wrong.

Doesn't every promoted team go up with a "strong winning mentality"?
