He was after number 8 from day 1. See below from the behind the scenes video of his signing.

If we’re counting the 21s then we do have enough outfield players for 5 teams... which kinda nullifies your other ‘point’ :)

My point still stands though, and is a pretty sharp point, whether Eastwood is injured or not, we still have 4 keepers ;)
 


If both do return it seems like it’ll be because we’ve either spent all our budget in non RCB/CCB positions, or we’ve simply not been able to recruit in those positions as intended. When both were on the released list I’m sure Wilder envisaged recruiting new players for both positions.

It looks like the numberless now have numbers.
Callum Robinson has taken 27
Luke Freeman seems to be on 28, though it was only a quick glimpse.

Could have players at Shirecliffe working on fitness? Or maybe they weren't going to be involved in this friendly, so stayed south of the border.

Someone said Baldock deffo doesn't have it and they seemed to be legit with the Richard Cadette esque posting frequency.
 



In addition to the crucially important squad number news, the Rammers vs Rambo debate rages on. Despite Ramsdale’s branding of Rambo on his gloves, there have been some utterances of Rammers from the coaching staff, and now even the Insta has nailed its colours to the mast. Given fans are obviously going to be chanting the more chantable Rambo, this battle is going to ramble on.
