No surprises here - it was bloody hard going watching the boys at home last season without buggering up the away weekends as well - suspect it will show a considerable increase this year.

Last season we, personally watched fewer away games than any season in the last 25 years! As you say, it was just too painful to spend any more money than necessary. Okay, okay, yes I'm a fickle fan.

This is interesting - I hadn't seen data like that before. be good to see hard numbers as well rather than percentages.

Speaking of away crowds, I note that there are only two clubs who have brought more fans to the Lane than we have taken to their stadiums - Preston and Carlisle. Indeed the Preston game, played at night during the week after the first Derby match (which was a bit of a low point season wise), was one of the few games where away capacity has been 1,000 plus but we've taken less.

Useful thread that, run by a decent Wendy. We and Wednesday are unsurprisingly at the top - I think we might pinch it through taking 6k to MK.
