Are you a size medium?I would be. It's not the best shirt but for a decent price I'd have one.
Yep.Are you a size medium?
Can I have a discount if I don’t have the Door Deals sponsor on mine please?!Let's just say that if somebody knew someone that could get these made to be like the originals with badge and both sponsors, do you think people may be interested in purchasing?
Asking for a friend like.
Consumerism. We've obviously got someone in who deals with our commercial marketing strategies and this is their brainchild. Release 3rd or even 4th kits at certain points in the season, initially pretend that there is no plan to make them available for sale, then through "demand" sell a few. Only make available a small amount and sell them off quickly thus still keeping the demand fairly high, which then also ensures that the next batch to be sold still holds the required desirability.Forgive my ignorance here but why are they so popular.
I thought the same not a bad idea to make money which after all is what football’s about these days unfortunately. The commercial people at United will surely have noticed the feeding frenzy yesterday for a bog standard old Adidas template shirt! The frenzy seemingly being because the shirt is white! Wouldn’t surprise me if they start coming up with excuses to release the odd limited edition shirt in future.Consumerism. Exactly. The shirts are just bog standard and generic with our badge and sponsors slapped on. Personally, I would be interested in such promotions if the shirts had a bit more about them, like engrained illustrations and consisting of different colours that represent a theme from our history. I went to Cancun, Mexico a few years ago and got a Pumas shirt in black with gold lettering etc and also a red and blue Cancun shirt. Both excellent designs and if we did something like those shirts as a limited edition thing then i would definitely be interested.I thought the same not a bad idea to make money which after all is what football’s about these days unfortunately. If we get to the prem maybe Adidas will upgrade us to their premier clubs alongside Man U and Real Madrid! Then we get the bespoke shirts. I saw Man U 3rd shirt the other day it’s got that Holy Trinity Best Law Charlton statue woven into the design that looks good. Maybe we’d also get some retro Adidas Orginals gear like Man U get as well I’d buy that.Exactly. The shirts are just bog standard and generic with our badge and sponsors slapped on. I’m sure Adidas must have been pleasantly surprised by the demand for our shirts since we’ve been with them especially as it’s mostly been as a third tier club.
Fair enough last year’s home shirt was great it wasn’t quite like the “premium” teams get though i.e Real, Man U, Milan, Bayern, Ajax etc. I’ve got a Bayern shirt from a few years ago the quality and detail is clearly better than we get.United had a bespoke kit in L1
