away shirt is claret.

i'm at sheffield fc and the away shirt is as first thought. Although it looks more red than claret. It looks nice. BUT, CLARET!

its the shirt that was seen on here the other day. Looks quite smart. Team was Haber, killa, morgs, carney and some young right back, connor something? Howard, quinn, gray, cotts, sharp, ward. Subs some keeper that came on in second half?? Bromby, hendrie, monty, little, reid and a young un. So no. Kyle's weren't there. I.ve just come away at 4.3 blades. Pub was calling as i'm soaked!
 
I really like it. I love the socks that go with the kit too. Although I think you could've chosen a better pic to put on to the site Foxy, as Ward is wearing black tape like a numpty! :p
 
More so, for the games people are seeing, how are gray and liddel?
 
From the pic posted on the main site by Webnerd Foxy I think the new away kit looks pretty good. I'm not normally a fan of the asymmetrical shirt. but that looks ok. I might just get one for my holiday.
 
IMO I think its cack. At least we have the limited edition black shirt to look forward to. I'm just thinking of colour clashes such as teams that play in bergundy or claret, do we play them in our new away shirt or the home kit?
A nice yellow version of the very shirt would have been better.

Personally I really really like the new away kit. Best one we've had for ages.
One small point though... I don't mean to be picky, but isn't the point of an away kit that it's a different colour to the home kit?!

Home kit's Red and White, away kit's... erm... White and Red!

Still looks cool though!
 



I like the new kit and will be getting this one rather than the home one.

Think you've answered your own question! Plus theirs only Scunny that play in Claret, even though the shirt is actually White!

I can't see it clashing with anyone. Forest usually have Red & White home shirt then the EXACT opposite for the away.
 
How the bloody hell do you post pictures onto this site? I was gonna put a scunthorpe home shirt alongside our away shirt and show everyone who appears to be colour blind that Claret & White aren't the same colour and therefore wont clash

I thought it was just me being stupid thinking there wouldn't be a clash.
 
I think you'll find in person too... it isn't actually claret.

It's a similar colour to the dark red that appears on the forum buttons.

Yeah its almost like Scarlet or something. I'm glad they didn't use West Shams colour
 
I've just popped along to the shop to pick up my new season card and drop off my slip for the third shirt (apparently I'm not the only idiot, and they were happy to take it, so that's good!), and I've taken a couple of photos of the away shirt - one so you can see it all, and one close up.

You'll notice that it's made of a funny airtex-type material, like the new Derby County home shirt - it looks a bit like kitchen towel. It's very nice though! They're hoping to have it ready for the 2nd August, at the open day.

I saw Killa and Howard's cars parked in the carpark too - read into that what you will!

the material looks like the same material used for the desun home shirt, one we wore for the 02/03 season
