Autographs from the 1920s

Just had a pleasant surprise at my desk this morning - a guy who does some work for me had been looking through some of his Grandad's old stuff and turned up his autograph book from the 1920s. Seeing a page of Sheffield United players he naturally sent me a picture - some of the last players to lift a major trophy in our colours!

Harold Gough (Keeper who left the Blades in 1924 cos the club rules forbidden players living in pubs)
James McCourt
Jim Plant
Harold Pantling
Fred Tunstall
Harry Johnson
Albert Sturgess (our oldest ever player)
Bert Menlove
Dont know who Fowler is

Sturgess left for Norwich in 1922/23 so the collection would be in early 1920s

Gough, Sturgess, Pantling and Tunstall played for England

Gough and Sturgess were members of the 1915 FA Cup winning team. Pantling, Johnson and Tunstall were members of the 1925 team
