Trusty was fine. Robinson played really well.
Thomas is green. Bogle is poor defensively and was terrible when attacking.
I think the 4 at the back gives us a better chance of getting on the ball in the right areas and allows Archer to play up top with a partner

Struggled with concentration at times but his defensive attributes are clear to see, Robinson though he’s been sensational and even in a back four he’s our best defender, stepped up massively.

Norwood was toss tonight and depletes our already slim chances by just giving the ball back every time we manage to win a set piece high up the pitch
Souza offers very little we would have been better off signing daniel johnson or some other run of the mill championship midfielder

has to stick with 4 at the back that extra man in midfield made the difference in the first half tonight but boy were we sloppy 2nd half again just making silly individual errors and playing 5 yard suicide passes in our final 3rd

We really are powder puff (piss weak if you prefer) defending around the edge of our own box.
Norwood, souza, hamer et al cannot win a 50-50 or close down properly. The full backs are also super weak.

The misplaced passes are a major concern. Teams playing the high press game and we treat the ball like a hot potato.

We are not good enough technically and to feel comfortable on the ball we have to give our players more time. We need a wider outlet and not try and play a possession game in the centre of the park. First half McAtee and to a lesser extent Bogle were giving up space and width on the right hand side. Not enough happening on the left side.

Defensively - George and RND could have made a difference last night.

Better in a 2 with Robinson than Egan

Our defence for the rest of the season/January should be Baldock Anel Trusty Robinson. I barely see any other option and at least it could build something for the future

He looks like our best centre half. Why has he been on the bench until an injury crisis?

I expect a similar thing with Slimane at this rate going off Hecky’s judgement of players and how they need to know the ‘system’ (what system?))

Thought he was excellent, strong, mobile and decent on the ball. Robinson equally as good and been the surprise package for us. Unfortunately Anel was one who everyone thought would step up effortlessly and he's been poor. Not sure I ll forget him giving up v Newcastle.

trusty was one of the positives to come out of last nights game thought him and robbo gelled well together i would also like us to play a back 4 of baldock anel trusty and robbo when all are fit and keep that extra man in midfield man utd were poor last night for 70 minutes and were there for the taking
