30 minutes against Nürnberg and 10 minutes against the MLS All Stars. The team didn't look good against Nürnberg, but it was their first pre-season game and Arteta trying a new system.

Just watching Trusty play for Birmingham and it struck me, if our scouts had spent so long watching Birmingham checking out Trusty they would've seen how good Chong was so whoever we're looking at in midfield must be considered better than Chong.

Looks good that. One signing and our back three is tall, strong, fast; a nice mix of youth and experience and they're decent on the ball as well. With Trusty also adding pace and individual defensive attributes we are better equipped for playing a high line, i.e. not as vulnerable against counter attacks. With Baldock and RND that could be a very strong defence later in the season. Keep in mind we've also got a new specialist defensive coach who may help us improve our organisation.
