Thing is even if he has a crap season we still win as it means we'll have him for the championship promotion campaign when he'll surely be good enough. Exact sort of signing, well done

Probably one of the best spoken players I've ever heard. Clearly has a good mind, has confidence in who he is and what he can offer and is supremely comfortable in his skin. Great stuff.
You’ve established all that how ? Just curious

Just 4 more 2 centre defensive midfielders, 1 AM and cover for Egan and I "just" might think it's been a good window

Just the way he talks. Compare it to 99% of player interviews. It's mumbled affirmation and mirrored responses to the question, followed by 'can't wait to get started' 99% of the time. Even seasoned pros are guilt of filling contractually obligated interview times with non-informative sounds that pass as answers but when you actually listen they say almost nothing at all.

On the other hand, this guy speaks as if he's got something between his ears. Not saying you have to be an intellectual to be a great footballer and I certainly don't expect that, but it is noticeable when an articulate, erudite young player sits with new people in new surroundings and has something to say and does it with confidence.

The thing that's ironic, did anyone notice the message flag at the bottom on sky sports news announcing man City paying 78 million on a defender before us paying 5 m

Hi Stegosaurus here,

Good signing. I am actually surprised we didn't have more competition for him from other lower-end Premier League teams.

You wouldn't get much premier league competition for the sort of players your outfit are looking at. Isn't the main qualification being able to be called "Big" whatever.

Colorado Rapids[edit]

On November 20, 2019, Trusty was traded to the Colorado Rapids in exchange for up to $750,000 in allocation money, including performance-based thresholds, as well as a percentage of a future transfer.

Taken from wikipedia, some new American phrases for us to use.

This.

Exudes everything you want from a professional sportsman. Got an intellect, got character and very positive. This could be a very good signing. Not read a bad word about him.

Also, in the Inside Shirecliffe video just released Rhian Brewster is banging them in the net. I'm just starting to feel a little bit more optimistic.

Jude Bellingham springs to mind, I'm always impressed when he speaks.

Long interview here - he does come across well
