Seems like he was Birmigham’s player of the season (from a quick Google) and also won one of the championship player of the month awards.

So sounds like a decent option if we can get him for a small fee. Decent age too to see if he can make the step up.

This does give us an excellent balanced defence.

I’d also then be looking to follow this up with new deals for Egan and Baldock, Rhys and potentially Bogle to make sure this part of the club continues to be well stocked.

Baldock/Anel/Egan/Trusty/RND looks very good.

Bogle/Bash/Robinson/Lowe/Larouci gives us about as much depth as we can hope for, especially with a few like Freckleton in the wings.

It does then highlight so much to do elsewhere in the team, especially now.

He got a bunch of hype earlier in the summer because he aced the skill challenges on their summer tour to the US. I doubt many Arsenal fans have paid much attention to him outside of that. Still he’d be the right type of signing and hopefully he’ll pan out

A loan needs to be a high profile player that we can't afford - James McAtee or Carney Chuck[sumat-or-other] from Chelsea as an example.
