Attempted car theft

Just take the rotor arm off from under the dissy cap and thank me later.😉👌

Used to work a treat on the model T Ford, not sure if you can now with 'modern' vehicles all having computer controlled electronic ignition, or running on diesel.

Taking the wheels off would work, place them on your Cop seat, then you can see above those standing in front of you.
Two problems solved in one 👅

It cost me about £60. About £35 for the unit, rest labour. You need the type with a remote key fob. It looks fairly simple to fit. If you have a reasonable knowledge of car electrics you should be able to DIY. I don't, so paid to have it done. It's not foolproof as it's fairly straightforward to remove and reconnect the battery but it takes some tools, time and knowledge which your normal car thief doesn't have.
As I said originally I got it to stop the battery draining which we couldn't find the cause of. (Fairly common problem in older Mazda's evidently) It was only afterwards that I realised it is a useful and cheap anti theft device.
You can also get them on a tiny switch and hide it under the dash somewhere. Bonus, don’t tell the wife you’ve done it and she can’t drive anywhere.

£ 4.95 any garage could fit in less than 5 minutes.

Though you might lose your alarm and central locking. I'll update when I've fitted mine next week..
Amazing isn’t it? All the new security tech, keyless start, advanced trackers, immobilisation etc and we’re back to locking your steering wheel and manually stopclocking the battery!

A big lock and chain
Back in the day
Fords were always easy to whack , a common key configuration back then , total different now
Opels (over here ) Vauxhall’s in the U.K. were the softest of soft touches , locks were (are ) soft as fuck and a flat headed screwdriver barrelled the lock
The guys who used to go to the same courses as me used to make barrel poppers and sell them to the local joyriders , who all used to carry a bit , so they couldn’t be charged with anything if guards stopped them , then when seeing a car they wanted and robbing it made it up there and then
The easiest and quietist way to tap a window is a broken file , they d always tap the fly windows never the doors windows way to loud
Have a sticker on your window and a big fuckoff chain & lock which is visible from the road guarantee car won’t be robbed
Won’t look nice but piece of mind or do car thieves go out with hacksaws now a days ?
