Want to know who's got the most in the league this season

The assists version of Andy Gray? It'd be interesting to see an analysis of the last United player to touch the ball before the opposition scores; eg Matt Hill vs Walsall and Colchester. Wonder where Quinn would be on that list?

There was one lucky flick that came off for Doyles screamer against yeovil(?) but apart from that i think most of Quinns assists have been pretty good and well crafted.

You'll notice the player that everybody's having a wet dream over is nowhere to be seen on that list.

what a load of bollocks.. cresswell is also on the list.. what defines an assist anyway.. the person who mis hit it last..

Ahh, the Assist. A shit idea brought in from American sports to clutter up the meaningless statistics (time of possesion, shots on target etc.). Only worthwhile stat is the one regarding goals!

TC would have been a major sufferer of this being the architect of the move (the 50 yard pinpoint pass to Woody) rather than the provider of the "final ball" (i.e. the cross onto Deardens head). I guess McDonald would slip under the radar in the same way.
