Yes its always been us looking with envy as sides like Reading (Championship) Charlton,Wolves, Bristol City et al were runaway winners of the league and here we are now champions (all bar the shouting) with 3 games left - Im ecstatic !

We've proven that it's possible. Yes I know it's League One, but this title win should build our confidence massively for the future.

In all my time of supporting the Mighty Blades since 1968 only the magical Woodward/Currie promotion matches this one. All our promotion years have ended brilliantly, that goes without saying, but this one ignoring the first month has just been brilliant all the way.
I seem to remember during the Warnock promotion, fans were calling for his head during the last few months, fearing he was going to fail.
This one is all the more special as it brings to an end such a long period of failure. Chris Wilder is already a Blades legend for me.

Wilder , Blades legend . I will look out for you post when we have lost 3 on the bounce .

For me the togetherness of the fans speaks volumes. Under Wilson, Weir, Clough and Adkin's the fans were split. Not anymore.

This season has been magnificent, but I'm trying to piece in my own mind whether the Triple Assault season was as enjoyable? (02/03).

We've played some fantastic stuff this year and I certainly think this has been the best style of play I've seen a United side produce.

On the other hand (although ultimately unsuccessful) we did have some magic games in 02/03 - Liverpool at home, Leeds at home, Portsmouth away, Wednesday at home, Nottingham Forest at home. Lots of last minute up-and-at-'em action.

Difficult to call for me. Both fantastic in their own right.
