Artura Lupoli to sign according to Sky
Huh?? I've got Sky on in the background and not heard anything! Or do you mean you've been gazing at the sky and waiting for divine guidance again SF? :D

He can play on the wing or up front. He's a bit lightweight; used to be on loan at Derby from Arsenal. The fans seemed to like him, although he could be a bit frustrating at times. He went back to Italy - Fiorentina I think - but seemingly missed England as he came back to play for Norwich.

I'd prefer to see him on the wing, as he's got pace and can jink past defenders to cross a ball in.

15.07 Sheffield United have agreed a deal to bring striker Arturo Lupolo from Norwich to Bramall Lane on loan until the end of the season.

He played left wing against us and ran past Naughton a number of times with his pace.

Could be a good signing:D

I thought he was the only decent player in norwich's side, he stood out for me as a good crosser of the ball.

Its on loan from Fiorentina not Norwich

Skysports.com understands Sheffield United are set to sign Arturo Lupoli on loan from Fiorentina.

Lupoli is currently on a season-long loan at the Blades' Championship rivals Norwich City, but that arrangement is set to be cut short.

The former Arsenal youngster has scored five goals in 20 appearances for the Canaries, but has struggled to establish himself in the starting line-up.

New Norwich boss Bryan Gunn has been busy increasing his attacking options before the close of the transfer window after bringing in Chris Killen, Alan Gow and Cody McDonald.

This situation has facilitated a move to Bramall Lane for Lupoli, who had previously spent the 2006/07 season on loan at Derby County.

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell had been hoping to add to his squad before the transfer deadline and will be looking to finalise the deal for Lupoli

I can only find stuff sayin his a striker.

More to the point if he aint good enough for Norwich how is he good enough for us? Is he gonna be another bench warmer?

he might have been recalled by Fiorentina and then sent to us?

his last 2 matches he has come on for cureton inside the last 10 mins

Used to play for Arsenal, highly rated when younger but has failed to live up to the hype so far. Not really sure where he would fit in as i see him as a player in the same mould as Anthony Stokes and we were unable to fins a place for him in the team.

if he is a footballer, then its a pointless move really, if he is a 10 foot unit then its a good move

Does that mean that we're going to have a new member join from Florence called "Lupoly" who will claim that Lupoli is the new Robinho in about 35 threads :)

He is worth a gamble if it is a loan deal only; it will no doubt cost us something in wages / loan fee but i would imagine this cost would be a fraction of what we would have to pay to bring in someone on a premanant basis.

If we had already bagged a couple of players to improve the first team then this kind of gamble would be a no lose situation but i fear the apparant lack of any other additions means the fans will be massively upset at the deadlings which have taken place and this lad will never be given a fair chance.

Well where is Beatties replacement? Where is the defender we need?

Would of been uproar with some fans if we did nothing today.
