The website is called Thesecretfootballer.com but the blog is in the 'Fanzone' section and it clearly stated its by Josh Nicholls, a Blackpool fan. There's no deception.

If "The Secret Footballer" (Kitson) wants to feature fanzone blogs he should set up a fanzone blog website, rather than putting said blogs on his secret footballer website because, regardless of intent, with the site so heavily themed it does look like the post was written by Kitson/The Secret Footballer.

In fairness, the website has for some time expanded to hosting a variety of other content. You can also clearly see at the top of the page that it's author is TSF Fan Zone, plus the individual author is given at the end of the piece. How much clearer can the site really be?

This is not him. It is a spotty, teenage Blackpool fan who has called his blog thesecretfootballer probably to try and trick people into thinking it is the Guardian columnist.

The Secret Footballer in the Guardian is a rotating bunch of Guardian journalists who get their stories from a variety of players. Kitson is the main source, but there are others, including Danny Higginbotham.
