That would make 2 players as only Choudhury looked upset to me. The rest were like farts frozen in a trance.

Not sure if he had another operation as there seem to be conflicting views, but SUFC are holding their golf day tomorrow and being a keen golfer you would expect that if fit he will be playing.

Selles said in the radio sheffield interview he would be back with them in September if all goes well and I presume match fit for around November.
Mid September which kind of backs up those saying he had a setback in his recovery. This means it will be 12 months hes been out and thats if everything progresses positively from now on

It also means we cant afford to let Peck go or we r really up the creek without a paddle in CM although Selles did say Gus wd be playing through the centre

I thought he was away with them? No?

Id be all over lewis obrien

Hamer / Peck / Arblaster Obrien as CM options

I know people are saying we are well stocked in CM. But we have to treat having Davies ( last year of contract) and Shackleton regularly fit as a bonus at best and not plan on it and who knows what will happen Arblaster. Peck and Hamer are our two most sellable assets. After Rights Back, this is where my next priority would be in the transfer window.

Arblaster may be fit to step up for the first team in September not just join in training.

We also don’t know how long it’s gonna take Arblaster to get up to speed or effects of the injury ? Davies also has a very chequered injury record & with sake of Souza we definitely need some recruitment in that department .

As many have said since day 1 of his injury …. We also don’t know if Arblaster will be anything like as good as he was before his injury. It’s a bad injury to get back from so fingers crossed.

Going for a night out wearing a boot immediately he got the injury was hardly the smartest move, derby win or not. I presume that under the new regime this sort of thing will be handled far more professionally in future.

It's a pretty simple surgery and recovery now.

I played in that and there weren't any current players there which I found a bit surprising. Expected to see Blaster and probably Gus as they're both very keen golfers.

Kozluk was there as was Bradders. Gary Sinclair played although was suffering after an op of some kind.

Ted Hemsley was involved in the prize giving as well.

All in all it was a proper decent day of golf.

Showing Pashun. What is this, the Catholic church?
The last pope had a heart by-pass operation and the next night he was wandering round Vatican City in a Celtic shirt, swinging one of them incense balls round his head, pissed as a fart.

Probably. Or summat.
